Acceptable Use Policy
Picker Radar · Last updated: April 27, 2026 · Effective upon publication
The short version: Use Picker Radar the way it's intended — to scan items and make better resale decisions. Don't try to scrape it, abuse it, or upload harmful content. This policy is incorporated into the Terms of Service.
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs how you may use the Picker Radar service operated by Qualuxe Goods LLC. It is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. Violating this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your account without refund.
1. Intended Use
Picker Radar is designed for individual thrift-store resellers to scan potential inventory items and look up comparable sold pricing on eBay. You agree to use the Service only for this intended purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
2. Prohibited Activities
2.1 No Scraping or Automated Extraction
You may not use bots, crawlers, scrapers, or any automated means to access the Service, extract data, or interact with the Service at scale. This includes:
- Automated image submissions to the scan endpoint
- Systematic harvesting of eBay comp data via the API or UI
- Screen-scraping or mirroring any portion of the Service
- Extracting comp data for resale, redistribution, or use in a competing product
2.2 No Redistribution of Comp Data
The eBay sold-comp data surfaced by Picker Radar is retrieved and processed by us under agreements with our data vendors. You may not redistribute, resell, republish, or make systematic copies of comp data obtained through the Service, whether through the UI or any API endpoint.
2.3 No Harmful or Illegal Content
You may not upload content that:
- Depicts child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content involving minors in a sexual context — this is a zero-tolerance violation and will be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement
- Depicts or facilitates illegal activity (e.g., stolen goods, controlled substances, illegal weapons)
- Infringes the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of a third party, unless you hold the necessary rights
- Is defamatory, obscene, or violates any third party's privacy rights
- Contains malware, viruses, or malicious code
2.4 No Account Sharing or Abuse
- Each account is for a single individual. You may not share your account credentials with others to circumvent per-account scan limits.
- You may not create multiple accounts to gain additional free scans or circumvent any usage limit.
- You may not sell, transfer, or license your account to others.
2.5 No Circumvention of Access Controls
- You may not attempt to bypass scan-quota gates, paywall checks, or any other access-control mechanism in the Service.
- You may not attempt to access administrative functions, other users' accounts, or restricted API endpoints.
- You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service.
2.6 No Security Testing Without Permission
You may not probe, scan, penetration-test, or otherwise attempt to identify security vulnerabilities in the Service without our prior written permission. If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, please report it responsibly to support@pickerradar.com rather than exploiting it.
2.7 No Overloading the Service
You may not take actions that impose an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on the Service's infrastructure, including bulk-uploading large volumes of images faster than the UI would allow under normal use.
3. Enforcement
We reserve the right to investigate violations of this AUP. Depending on severity, we may:
- Issue a warning
- Temporarily suspend your account
- Permanently terminate your account without refund
- Report illegal activity to appropriate law enforcement authorities
We are not required to provide advance notice for serious or illegal violations.
4. Reporting Violations
If you believe someone is violating this AUP, or if you have found a security issue, please report it to support@pickerradar.com. For copyright infringement, follow the procedure in our DMCA Policy.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and reflected in an updated version with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
